Qualified NSW Electrician | Critical Infrastructure (Rail)
A leading infrastructure specialist is seeking Qualified NSW Electricians for an immediate commencement to support critical infrastructure and communications projects across Sydney. These are long-term positions forming the compliance and safety backbone of a major delivery team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on nationally significant projects and gain exposure to advanced systems within the rail and electrical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
...- LV Systems: Install, terminate, and maintain LV power cabling for communications racks, devices, and associated systems.
- Safety Assurance: Provide electrical safety assurance in HV and substation environments following relevant training.
- Technical Works: Conduct electrical works in rail corridors in strict accordance with WHS and rail safety regulations.
- Testing: Use approved tools such as multi-meters and Ethernet testers for thorough testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Read and interpret electrical and communications drawings to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Electrical License (NSW)
- Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Proven experience in LV electrical installations, maintenance, and fault diagnosis
- Ability to work in high-risk environments with a strong awareness of compliance and operational protocols
